"That will show them," I thought as I hammered the last nail into place...
“This is the best tree hut ever!, it'll totally beat Michael at the competition” I told my best friend Katie.
Then a big tractor turned up at Katie’s farm. The driver hopped out and said “I’ve come to knock this tree down, Michael is paying me to and I need the money.”
He rammed into the tree house but the tractor went “KA BOOM!!!!!!!!!”
after hitting the tree with such force. The tree and the tree house stayed still without a scratch. “HOORAY!!HOORAY!!” Katie and I shouted. “Shame!
Tell Michael that we are going to win the competition tomorrow!!”
The tractor driver glared at Katie and I and said “I’ll be back”
"That will show them," I thought as I hammered the last nail into place.
They scratched at the wood, snuffling and howling. Blood dripped from my grazed hands into the crate, setting the creatures into a frenzy. Master would be happy, pleased I’d obey his words although my heart had not desired. I pulled my handkerchief out of my pocket and cleaned my bloody hands, these creatures were nasty. Picking up the crate I thought about what I had done. Even though they had hurt me while I was trying to catch them, they were innocent creatures. Why were they hunted for their clean blood?
I didn’t know much about these creatures apart from the fact that they liked the sweet smell of human blood.
The cool wind brushed against my face and I knew it was time.
"That will show them," I thought as I hammered the last nail into place. I then shut the cupboard and walked back inside where all my friends were. "So how's the slumber party going girls?" I asked in a very girly voice, everyone was having fun and laughing at the top of their lungs. "Who wants popcorn?" Sarah asked, "I do," screamed all the girls in the house. "Let's watch a horror." I said, "Okay how about dead silence?" replied Annah. Everyone sat down and Cherish pleasingly went around to turn off all the lights. The ads were on so Santana ran and got some blankets. We heard her scream and ran to see why she screamed, "What's the matter?" asked Cherish "There's blood on the blankets," she replied, "where's Annah?" I asked "she just went to the toilet, but that was ages ago." Everyone yelled out to Annah and she didn't reply. I suggested that there was way to much blood to be a bleeding nose or a cut, so the girls and i spanned out around the house looking for her. "Annah," we called out, "Annah where are you? this aint a joke and even if it was it aint funny," yelled Tarryn. "Okay guys where's Santana?" I asked, "There were five of us including Santana and Annah and now there's only three." "Guys whatever yous are playing at it's really not that funny." Yelled Cherish at the top of her voice. "Oh my gosh guys stick together now, where's Sarah oh my god we've lost Sarah too." Said Cherish. "Sarah!" We both yelled. "Let's go look around the bedrooms now," I said. We both held each others arms so tight that we lost feeling in them. We opened the first bedroom door there was so much blood all over the walls and ground. We didn't know what to do so we ran back into the lounge. "Should we ring the police?" asked Cherish. I didn't reply, "I'm confused," I said from the start Tarryn wasn't yelling out she just walked around looking for everyone and now we can't find her." "There were only five girls including me and you but how and when did Tarryn get here?" I said to Cherish in a quiet voice. I screamed and yelled as loud as i could, "Cherish!" I yelled, "look out behind you! There's Tarryn!" I yelled and pulled Cherish towards me, "Oh no she's got me!" Cherish yelled. Tarryn stabbed her right in front of me, all this blood poured out of her, "Please don't hurt me I cried what is wrong with you, you pschopath!" I then grabbed a knife and stabbed Tarryn in the throat. She then fell to the ground and died. Blood trickled out the side of her mouth. I ran towards Cherish who was still breathing. I called the police and they arrived within 15 minutes with an ambulance.

Samantha and Claudia

“That will show them “I said as I hammered the last nail in. I had just finished making my one of a kind tree house in our big ancient oak tree. No one believed me when I volunteered to make it for the juniors in our school; they all thought I was a fraud. I have always been the prime target for bullies, and I was always at the bottom of all the lists. The next day I drove into school on my broken down 1950’s ford mustang. Vincent and his martial arts trained mob, named Chi, Jack, Armpit and Crowbar were all looking at me with their big, black, beady eyes. They were all shocked at my one of a kind tree house that was sitting in the middle of the oak tree. “Do you mind helping me with the ladder” I pleaded sarcastically. Vincent looked at me sourly and I did the same back as soon as he made contact with my eyes he broke into tears and speeded to the teacher with his lame mob trailing behind. Three weeks later Vincent had still not arrived at school. And that was the week I finally became noticed.
I shook the basement door to make sure it would hold, then walked outside and listened. Apart from the crash of the surf, all was quiet. Too quiet. . I knew they would be back soon and I knew I had to get away. The full moon was rising over the sea. At least I will be able to see the rocks and the tide was on its way out. I took the jar of nails and the hammer back to the old car shed at the back of the bach, and carefully put them back. Looking back towards the hills, I saw lights on the road at the top.
